Pasarina is a modern supermarket that reinterprets the experience of Indonesia's traditional market through a contemporary retail environment. While the store offers a curated selection of premium products, its identity is rooted in the familiarity that long associated with local markets.
The visual system draws inspiration from traditional market materials and details, including rattan displays, burlap textures, wooden fixtures, and Indonesian textile patterns. Rather than recreating a traditional market, these elements are refined into a modern retail language that feels clean, premium, and distinctly local.
Beyond the visual identity, we developed a communication approach that celebrates the values behind Indonesian food culture. Campaigns such as ‘Segar Sedari Dulu’ shift the conversation away from products alone, telling stories about the people, care, and traditions that bring good ingredients to the table. Together, the verbal and visual systems give Pasarina a voice that feels familiar, respectful, and unmistakably Indonesian.
