Gayasa

Gayasa is a restaurant in Central Java created in response to a crowded F&B landscape where many offerings begin to feel interchangeable. The objective was not to be extreme or experimental, but to offer a fresh alternative through variety, openness, and a space that welcomes different kinds of gatherings. Gayasa brings together Indonesian & western-inspired dishes in an environment designed for everyday dining as well as family events, small celebrations, or casual hangouts.

The name combines “Gaia,” meaning earth, and “Rasa,” meaning taste. This foundation shaped the identity direction. The core symbol is derived from the letter “A,” repeated radially to form a flower-like mark. The floral form references life and growth, while the arch silhouette embedded within the logotype reflects shelter and protection. Together, these elements position Gayasa as a place that feels inclusive and grounded rather than exclusive.

Inspired by the idea of Gaia, the color palette draws from natural tones such as green, sun-washed yellow, and brick red. The system balances warmth and structure, ensuring flexibility across signage, menus, packaging, and the interior. The logomark is extended into a supergraphic, appearing across packaging, menus, and merchandise as a bold visual element. By scaling and repeating the mark, the identity becomes part of the space itself, giving Gayasa a consistent presence without overwhelming the dining experience.
